We offer two modern comfortable no smoking
cabins rented on a weekly basis on beautiful Savary Island,
surrounded
by warm Pacific waters.
Savary is famous for clam digging as well as its oyster-beds,
especially along the northside beaches.
A favourable environment produces forests of fir, pine, yew,
alder, maple, arbutus and cedar. Seals and otter are common
on the beaches. Watch for squirrels, deer, bald-eagles, hummingbirds
and owls.
Its warm, sheltered sandy beaches offer great swimming.
Savary is truly a diamond-in-the-rough.

 The
neighboring islands of Texada , Hernando, and of course, Vancouver
Island can all be seen from Savary.
Savary Island is 5 miles long and ½ mile wide. Most
visitors walk the entire island, while others prefer to bring
their bicycles. Some simply walk the white sandy beaches and
take in the salt-air and ocean breezes. Savary Island is across from Comox on Vancouver Island. You
can take a ferry from Powell River to Comox and from there
you can go to Mount Washington for a day of skiing to add to
your week.
